AHCI Best of ASCO® Official Annual Meeting
Join AdventHealth Cancer Institute for our 10th Annual licensed Best of ASCO® meeting, bringing the best of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, to be held at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.
Each year, the ASCO® scientific committee selects the highest-rated abstracts from the ASCO® Annual Meeting to be available for licensed Best of ASCO® meetings around the world.
AdventHealth Cancer Institute has chosen specific abstracts for presentation.
Educational Objectives
To increase physicians’ competence and apply this information to their patient population for Bladder, Breast, Colorectal, Gynecologic, Head and Neck, Kidney, Liver, Leukemia, Lymphoma, Melanoma, Myeloma, Pancreatic, Prostate and Thoracic.
1. Summarize the data presented at ASCO 2023 and practice application in clinical settings.
2. Examine advances in treatment strategies for patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.
3. Evaluate the role of new diagnostic techniques and therapeutic approached in the care and management of cancer patients.
4. Interpret updates in evidence-based guidelines, regulations, clinical and translational research, and precision medicine.
Target Audience
All physicians including Medical and Hematology Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, General Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Colorectal Surgeons, Dermatologists, Pulmonologists, Oral Surgeons, Otolaryngologists, Neuro Oncologists, Urologists, Nephrologists, Gastroenterologists, Gynecologic Oncologists, Thoracic Surgeons, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pathologists, Radiologists, Residents, Fellows, Medical Students, Oncology Nurse Practitioners, Oncology Nurses and other Allied Health Care Professionals.
Continuing Education
CME: AdventHealth Orlando is accredited by the Florida Medical Association to provide Continuing Medical Education for physicians. AdventHealth Orlando designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ and Sunday, Breakout session 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in this activity. ASCO is not the CME provider for this activity.
MOC: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to -9.0 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program; and -9.0 MOC points in the American Board of Surgery (ABS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program; and -9.0 MOC points in the American Board of Pathology (ABPath) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program and -9.0 MOC points in the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM, ABS, ABPath or ABOHNS MOC credit.
