AHCI Head and Neck Journal Club focus on Oral Cavity

Join us for the upcoming Head and Neck Journal Club where key experts share timely journal articles highlighting emerging scientific and clinical data, treatment advances, and evidence-based guidelines to optimize management of care for Oral Cavity Head and Neck Cancer patients. This AdventHealth Cancer Institute program encourages attendees to participate live during the evaluation of literature with a multidisciplinary team.

Target Audience

All physicians, especially: Otolaryngologists, Dentists, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Oral Surgeons, Radiologists, Pathologists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Other Health Care Professionals.

Continuing Education

CME: AdventHealth Orlando is accredited by the Florida Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. AdventHealth Orlando designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MOC: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program; and 1.5 MOC points in the American Board of Surgery (ABS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program; and 1.5 MOC points in the American Board of Pathology (ABPath) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program; and 1.5 MOC points in the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM, ABS, ABPath, or ABOHNS MOC credit.

Nursing CE: Nursing Continuing Education Credit Hours have been applied through the Florida Board of Nursing Provider Number NCE2012/CE Broker Provider Number #50-724 and are pending approval.
