Dr. Jorge E. Suarez-Cavalier, MD is board certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery. Dr. Suarez- Cavalier earned his medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeria in Bogota, Columbia. He went on to complete his internship at Hospital Universitario and his medical residency at Pontificia Universidad and Maimonides Medical Center, Carolinas Healthcare System in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Suarez- Cavalier finished his medical training with a fellowship at Bayor College Medical in Houston, TX, and Oregon Health Science University in Portland, OR. An established member of the medical community, Dr. Suarez- Cavalier is a member of the American Medical Association and the Orange County Medical Society.
