Dr. Mahmood Ali, MD is a board-certified internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care physician. Dr. Mahmood Ali earned his medical degree at Szent-Gyorgyi Medical School in Hungary. He went on to complete his medical residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Mahmood Ali stayed at Howard University Hospital to complete a fellowship in pulmonary medicine and finished a second fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

An established leader in his field, Dr. Mahmood Ali has been a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the American Association of Bronchology. He specializes in pulmonary diseases.
